Are there any mailing lists you can access to market a product you designed, relating to specific types or business organisations? Does any organisation keep lists of email address (like a phone book) where you can purchase lists etc and use these for marketing?

Yes, I know of a company in the UK that will sell email addresses for different market sectors. Is this what you mean? Recenltly we have been quoted 拢50 for 204 names and email addresses. Let me know if this is of any help to you.

Got to MSN Yellow Pages, you will get their Phone numbers. Some of them might list email id's.


From Yellow pages you pick the Brass and handicraft importers and talk to them.

On the main yahoo web page, under "more yahoo services" you could find a pick that you could use to search for yahoo people. You can searchh by town, sex, age, etc. You could see if your friends were on line or not. Now it is gone. I can not find it. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Create ur own list thru cheap google adwords ads,and then thru a good mailing system,u can send mails automatically.

Reply:The sending of unwanted emails is known as 'spamming' .. be prepared for your domain to be 'black listed' and for your ISP to cut you off ...
Reply:Be careful about such lists.


They are sold to everybody and with rules on opt-in marketing, you may run into problems.





A better way may be to build your own list with an opt-in newsletter sign up,

If I remember correctly, when you do the settings on the 360, you are asked if you want it to be included in the directory. I know that's what is asked in setting up a regular Yahoo! profile, anyway. I just went through the list of settings,however, and I don't see where you can choose that. If anyone knows, maybe you can correct me so I don't confuse anyone the way I often am. hehe
Reply:Directories are just stored 'searches', sometime created from other stored 'searches' - These can take some time to be updated.
Reply:If you go to your settings, beneath your intial name profile you will see the following i've put dots where it will be your user name, you just need to tick the box to activate it so that any one who knows your name, user name and e-mail can find you!..
